Armaments: Multiple Extra-Powerful Shells Firing Range: - (Air Launched): 120+ miles/220+ km(estimated) - (Sub Launched): 1,100 miles/2,000 km Energy Source: Unknown Speed: Less than Mach 3 (>2,280 mph/>3,675 km/h) Propulsion: Solid-Fuel Booster Rocket (estimated) Height: Unknown Width: - (Air Launched): 2 feet (60.96 cm) (estimated) - (Sub Launched): 9 feet (2.74 m) (estimated) Length: - (Air Launched): 15 feet (4.57 m) (estimated) - (Sub Launched):20 feet 6 inches (6.25 m) (estimated) Weight: - (Air Launched): 2,000 pounds (909.1 kg) (estimated) - (Sub Launched): 3,600 pounds (1636.4 kg) (estimated) The Multi-Purpose Burst Missile was developed in the early to mid 1980's by the Belkans, utilizing Fuel and High Explosives, the MPBM was able to create from one to as many as eight explosions with yields equivalent to small-scale thermonuclear bombs (estimated at around a 10-40 ton yield). Several of these missiles were shipped to Yuktobania sometime around the late 1980's for use in it's new Aresnal ship, the Scinfaxi-class SSBN. (which they first used in 1991) It is believed that Belka (until 1995) and Yuktobania built their own MPBM's, to replace low-yield nukes. Air Launched and Sub Launched Missiles are known to exist. The MPBM was first used in war during the "A World With No Boundaries" crisis. The Air-Launched MPBM was used on the prototype ADFX-02 Morgan jet aircraft, flown by mercenary pilot, Larry "Pixy" Foulke during his dogfight with Galm 1 on December 31, 1995. Though the weapon proved devastating, he would still prove no match for "The Demon Lord. 15 years later, Yuktobania's would use the MPBM in war, the first time this country has done so. On September 30, 2010, the Scinfaxi, launched 2 Sub-Launched MPBM on the Aircraft Carriers of Osea's Third Fleet. It proved devastatingly effective as two of the three Carriers, the OFS Buzzard and the OFS Vulture both sank to the bottom of the Eaglin Straits. The Scinfaxi also proved effective early on in the Battle of Sand Island 5 days later, it's MPBM was able to destroy several Osean fighters, however they had a vital weakness which proved the downfall of Sub-Launched MPBM's, they were Air-to-Ground Weapons and only had a lethal blast radius at targets under 5,000 feet, a weakness exploited by Wardog Squadron, the Anti-Sub Aircraft Blue Hound, and the Arkbird, which crippled the ship with it's Tactical Laser System. The MPBM's final use in the war was in November 14, 2010, when the Scinfaxi-class ship Hrimfaxi launched Burst Missiles to stave off the Osean Advance into Yuktobania. However, the Hrimfaxi, like the Scinfaxi before it, was destroyed due to the same limitations that Sub-Launched MPBM's had. The MPBM's were never used again for the remainder of that war. |

Cant say I'm sure, the recent scaling sheet was just needed to be posted. I kinda left it in the back burner. So to speak, 5 Oct 2009 - 12:01
