Rules and Guidelines
Spoiler Note
I'd like to address this right now. The Electrosphere's goal is to inform anyone interested with the Ace Combat Series about everything seen in the games. That means that spoilers may be present in most areas on the Site. You've been warned.
White and Light-blue Text
Any text seen in articles that is white or light blue is known as the "Official Word of the Electrosphere". Anything in this text is usually 100% confirmed or completely official if seen in information articles.
Posting
Any member of the Electrosphere.info can post wherever they please. When posting information be sure to check your post for mistakes and other things first. This will help keep the information clear and accurate, as it possibly can be. If you can't decided on a place where your information should be posted, then post it in the area known as the ITTC. It can be sorted out there. Members must make use of the edit button. The first and second double or triple post will result in a non-threatening reminder, via PM, for the member to use the edit button. The third time a member does double or triple post, they will receive a minimal warning and a third PM. After the third PM, any actions to stop the double or triple posting may be made. Profanity is restricted, but not abolished. Smaller words such as “Damn” or “hell” are fine, but heavier words will be punished if used. Punishment will vary per word. No Pornography of any sort. Any images which are considered ‘racy’ in anyway, but are not pornography, should be posted within a link format and not in an image format, allowing users to view it if they choose to. A description of the image should be typed up by the poster, above the provided link. Any posting of pornography will result in an immediate ban or suspension.
User Names Not Allowed
The only name not allowed is: Ribbon or Ribbon-(something here) because of the staff use of this prefix. All Ribbon-names must be approved by Ribbon-Blue. Also, If the Mods or the Admins think that your names is offensive or vulgar, you will recieve a notice that you have 1 day to PM an Admin to have it changed or you will be banned for a week. At the end of week you have 2 days to resubmit a name.
GMail Accounts Not Accepted
With the beginning of Admin Validation needed for all new Registered User Accounts, it has been found that at least 95%-97% of all spam bots which attempt to enter or enter Electrosphere.info use GMail accounts. Because of this, no New User Accounts with GMail accounts will accepted.
Signatures
Electrosphere has come to a decision on signatures and User Ribbons which go in them. The layout at maximum parameters is as follows:
-One Main Signature or Image
-Two lines of text
-Two rows of 5 User Ribbons
More text can be added with less images or main signature pictures can be larger with less User Ribbons. There is room for flexibilty in order to ensure that all members are allowed to express themselves in their signatures. However, any signatures which are too large for the boards will be pointed out via PM to their owners.
Avatars
Avatars for regular members are maxed at 80x80 pixels. Any deviation will result in a PM from an Admin or Mod notifying you that you have three days to change your avatar before it is removed. Only Admins, Mods and Contributors are allowed the max of 100x100 pixels for their avatars. Finally, only Admins may use 'Admin' avatars (be they from AC.net/ACS.com or The Electrosphere), Mods may use 'Mods' and Contributors may use 'Contributors'. Anyone else caught purposely using the wrong avatar is subject to reprimand and deletion of avatar.
Squadron Relations
Please try to keep any 'bad' relations between squadrons at bay here. Consider this a neutral area for all squadrons. You can fly you squadron's colors here, but try not to get too out of hand.
Sourcing
All articles must be sourced to be officially recognized by the Electrosphere. Almost any source is fine wether it be from a Namco Website or a game itself, but we will not allow anything to be sourced from Wikipedia alone.
