Premise

All the info contained in this section is taken from Ace Combat 2, the game itself, played at the highest level of difficulty.

However, there might be some differences between the info contained in this section and the game played at lower level of difficulties.

Regarding the "Z.O.E."s: if you fail to shoot down one, the ZOE you failed to shoot will appear on the next mission that features one ZOE. (IE: if you fail to shoot the ZOE present in the Sledgehammer mission, it will appear on the next mission that features one, Seagull.)

Mission Overview
In this mission, you are deployed for destroying an enemy's front-line base.

You should be able to have a wingman as support. Sure, it costs a lot(although you can even go in alone), but it'll give you a lot of help, especially against the enemy fighters that are protecting the facility.

Anyway, just keep in mind the third mission, this one too is pretty similar. Just pay attention to take out the AA guns before attacking the targets, otherwise these will give you a LOT of trouble.

Yea...I forgot to say that two of the targets (the oil tanks) are inside the castle. In case of difficulty, try to attack them from 1'000 meters or above. That'll do the job.

Mission Overview
In this mission, you are deployed for destroying an enemy aircraft carrier docked for resupplying.

Once the mission starts, turn right and reach the position of the carrier passing over the sea. The bay is heavily defended by various AA Gun and fighters, so you might need to take out some of them before attacking the Target.

One 'lil tip for engaging AA Guns: fly at low altitude, and pull up and turn after you get a lock and shoot at them. The same applies to SAMs. Just pay attention to don't fly directly above them.

One last thing: if you can manage to sunk both of the transport ships, you'll unlock an alternative for the 4th mission.

Mission Overview
In this mission you are deployed for intercepting a reconnaissance sent by the Usean rebels for investigating the current strength of the Anti - Coup d'état forces.

You can choose between ignoring the escorts and directly shooting down the targets (in that case the escort plane will give you some trouble), or to engage the escorts and then shooting down the targets. The only advice that I can give here is to shoot down the Decorated Ace who's escorting the C-17s at first and then engage all the other units.
